Twin Cities International Elementary School (K-4) is now accepting applications for a Data and Technology Integration Specialist for the 2017-18 school year.
Responsibilities: Under general direction of the school Director, it is the role of the Data and Technology Integration Specialist to provide school level support to help Twin Cities International Elementary School (TIES) use data to improve TIES and increase student achievement. The specialist is responsible for conducting regular data integration meetings and mentoring school level data personnel and teacher teams. Additionally, the specialist maintains and reviews student achievement and organizational effectiveness data and collaborates with administration to analyze, coordinate and report data that monitors and informs strategic planning and classroom instruction.
The Technology Integration Specialist components are established for the purpose/s of improving student performance by interfacing with teachers to facilitate the integration of technology into teaching and learning by developing and conducting professional development sessions on infusing technology into the core areas of academic curriculum.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor’s degree in related field. Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching and integration of technology and data into instruction. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed. Strong foundation in pedagogy and teaching methodologies. Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Ability to work independently and foster positive interpersonal relationships with faculty, staff and administrators. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements: Somali/Orono and English bilingual, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from a four-year college or university; 3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The following skills are required; Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Skills.
Responsibilities: Help develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children; according to age ability, and aptitude. Educational Assistant’s also assist the teachers in helping challenge and inspire students to deepen their knowledge and understanding.
