Kindergarten Website

Kindergarten is a significant year because it is the beginning of a child's formal education. Kindergarteners are mastering the basic skills needed to be successful readers, writers and life-long learners. Students will begin by learning about the foundations of reading and math including letter sounds, letter names and developing number sense. Some academic highlights are our annual trip to the apple orchard, celebrating the 100th day of school and Kindergarten graduation. Things to work on at home daily with Kindergarten students are letter and number writing, as well as sight word recognition. We are looking forward to creating a successful and beneficial experience for all Kindergarten students this year!
