Abdikarim Mohamed is the Chair for the TIES Board of Directors and was elected in June 2006. Mr. Mohamed has been working in the education field for the last ten years as an educational assistant and a teacher. He is currently perusing a Masters Degree in Education at Hamline University. Mr. Mohamed is a Father of three children in TIES. He has a BSC degree in Agricultural Science from Somali National University. Mr. Mohamed has worked and volunteered in a variety of educational settings in the Twin Cities. One of his goals is to increase student achievement in TIES.
