Welcome to the 10th Anniversary year of the Twin Cities International Elementary School! We are proud to have reached this milestone with continued success both in student academic success and with high support from our families, staff, and community. We are honored to have a dedicated school-wide community committed to the continued success of our school.
About: K-4 charter school founded by educational leaders in the East African community, that ultimately seeks to prepare students for successful and productive lives as United States citizens while allowing them to retain their unique cultural heritage.
Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Twin Cities International Elementary School to provide a rigorous education in a culturally sensitive environment. Founded by educational leaders in the East African community, this public charter school ultimately seeks to prepare students for successful and productive lives as United States citizens while allowing them to retain their unique cultural heritage.
Students: The majority of our 600+ students are children of East African heritage.
Organization: The school has a centralized administration led by School Director Randal Eckart and a School Board comprised of teachers and community members.
